Cristian Costenar is a PhD. Candidate of International Politics at Shandong University in Qingdao, China. Previously, he obtained his Master’s Degree in International Security at the Turkish National Police Academy in Ankara, Turkey. His on-going dissertation is focused on the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia’s relationship with organized crime and cocaine in Colombia, and its impact on national and international policy. His research interests are geared towards non-traditional security, especially the fields of organized crime and terrorism.
