James Ragland is the Nuclear Weapons Enterprise Division Coordinator for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School. His areas of instructional expertise include nuclear weapons policy and deterrence, foreign nuclear weapons capabilities, and foreign nuclear doctrine. In his current role, he leads a team of 20 military, civilian and contracted personnel to bring 10 unique
course offerings to the federal, state, local, tribal and territorial inter-agency. To do so, he draws on over 20 years of experience at the school and fifteen years of prior work as a technician in the UA Air Force's Bioenvironmental Engineering field.
