Bruce E. Stanley is an assistant professor at the School of Advanced Military Studies, US Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where he teaches military theory, operational design, and military planning. Dr. Stanley earned his PhD in Security Studies from Kansas State University. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army with over 24 years of active duty service in the Infantry. While on active duty, he served in a variety of command and staff positions.
