Miloš Dimić is a Master’s student at the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies at the University of Calgary. His thesis examines the MONUC peacekeeping operations in the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo in terms of conflict resolution and mediation, and the ways these relate to the mandate and organisational constraints of the UN mission. His other research interests include humanitarian international law, democratisation and development, and African and East European/CIS international affairs.
